Any way to add a pause in the middle of text

Is there any way to add a pause for the Text to Speech. Something like "In this sentence I want the voice to pause for 2 seconds here,, is there anyway to do that".

So this doesn't work but didn't know if there's a way to add some pauses in the middle of text by inserting characters or something. didn't see anything in API about it.
